Here is a great Lionel 6-9824 O Gauge New York Central Gondola with Coal Load from 1975. This car is from the original "Standard O" series (scale-length cars that run on regular Lionel track). When introduced, Lionel did not make an engine to match these cars, so sales of the original Standard O cars were pretty slow. Thus, they are a bit harder to find than most MPC-era freight cars. This car features die cast sprung trucks, sliding doors and operating couplers.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. Signs of previous use on the surface.
