This is a Lionel 60 Vintage O Lionelville Motorized Rapid Transit Trolley from 1955-58. This trolly car features bumpers on each end that cause it to change directions whenever it runs into anything, like a bumper. It features interior illumination, a reverse unit, operating function, silhouetted window strips, and metal wheels and axles. Something to note is that when the direction of the trolley changes, the trolley pole on top also spins around to the proper trailing position. It was a real postwar favorite, and Lionel has remade it in several varieties over the years..

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. This car shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This car shows fading on the roof and body. While the trolley does function in both directions it tends to derail itself while in motion. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included.
